Meeting Description:
The Florida Linguistics Yearly Meeting 2 (FLYM 2) will take place at Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, March 7 & 8, 2015.
FLYM focuses on theoretical approaches to syntax, semantics, and phonology, and the exploration and explanation of distinctive phenomena in natural languages.
Keynote speaker: Jon Sprouse (University of Connecticut)
Call for Papers:
The Florida Linguistics Yearly Meeting (FLYM) is a conference that focuses on theoretical approaches to syntax, semantics, and phonology, and the exploration and explanation of distinctive phenomena in natural languages. We invite papers on all native languages and from all theoretical perspectives.
Format:
Each accepted paper is allotted 30 minutes, including a minimum of five minutes for questions.
Submission:
Submit your abstracts to florida.linguistics at gmail.com. Abstracts should not exceed one page (US letter, Times New Roman, font size 12, including references).
Deadline:
The deadline for abstract submission is December 31, 2014. After a short review process, notifications will be sent out in mid-January.
