Subject: Journal Pragmatics Partners with Benjamins

John Benjamins Publishing is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Journal Pragmatics. Pragmatics is the peer-reviewed quarterly publication of the International Pragmatics Association (IPrA), which was established in 1986
to represent the field of linguistic pragmatics in its widest interdisciplinary sense as a functional (i.e. cognitive, social, and cultural) perspective on language and communication. Issues are published in March, June, September, and December, every annual volume counting roughly 600 pages.

Pragmatics will be made available in open access on the Benjamins website (http://ibenjamins.com/catalog/prag) after just a 12-month embargo period. More recent issues are available to subscribing libraries (IP-access) and all of IPrA's individual members (personal log-in) at the IPrA website (http://ipra.ua.ac.be).

The editorial team currently consists of Charles Briggs (University of California at Berkeley), Frank Brisard (University of Antwerp), Yoko Fujii (Japan Women’s University Tokyo), Helmut Gruber (University of Vienna), Sophia Marmaridou (University of Athens), Rosina Márquez Reiter (University of Surrey), and Gunter Senft (Max Planck Institute Nijmegen).

2013 Impact Factor: 0.273 (5-yr: 0.489)

This journal is peer reviewed and indexed in: MLA, Scopus, and in the following Thomson Reuters (ISI) services: Social Sciences Citation Index, Social Research, Arts and Humanities Citation Index, Journal Citation Reports/ Social Sciences Edition.
