Meeting Description:

The Centre for Endangered Languages and Mother Tongue Studies, School of Humanities,University of Hyderabad is happy to announce the 12th ICOSAL. 

The event is in collaboration with CIIL, Mysore, CUK, Karnataka and EFLU, Hyderabad. 

The conference has its primary focus on the Languages and Literatures of South Asia.

The Centre for Endangered Languages and Mother Tongue Studies (CELMTS) was established in September, 2010 as an independent Centre of the School of Humanities, University of Hyderabad. It is the first centre of its kind in an educational institution in India. The goal of the Centre is to document minor and endangered languages, sensitize the speakers and create awareness about minor languages and cultures.

Registration:

Student (from SAARC nations): INR 1000
Faculty (from SAARC nations): INR 2000
All others: USD 100

The registration fee may be paid at the conference venue.

We encourage scholars to organize panel discussions on themes relevant to the ICOSAL-12.
