Abstracts for papers on the phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, lexicon, social aspects of language, history of the discipline, education or any pertinent issue involving pidgin and creole languages or other contact languages are invited for anonymous review.
Full papers will be allowed 30 minutes, including 10 minutes for discussion.

Instructions for abstract submission
Submission:
Abstracts should be submitted to Silvio Moreira de Sousa (silvio.moreira-de-sousa at uni-graz.at) in PDF format. Abstract submission opens on January 5 and closes on February 15. 2015.
Conditions:
Authors from non-African institutions have to be SPCL members. After an abstract has been submitted, changes of author, affiliation, title, or wording of the abstract, other than those due to typographical errors, will not normally be permitted. Papers must be delivered substantially as indicated in the abstract or represent bona fide developments of the same research.
Word Limit:
Abstracts (including examples, if needed) must be no more than 400 words (excluding title and references) and have to be submitted on the attached form, in type no smaller than 10 point and preferably 12 point. References may be included on a second page. Abstracts exceeding the word or page length limit or in a type smaller than 10 point will be rejected without being evaluated. Please note the word count at the bottom of the abstract.
Name and Other Details:
Your name, contact details etc. should only be given on the first page of the abstract submission form. Omit your name from abstract itself. Do not put your name on the abstract page (page 2 of the form). If you identify yourself in any way on the abstract (e.g. In Brown (2001) I claim...), the abstract will be rejected without being evaluated. Your name should only be on the first page of the submission form.
