Abstract:

When moving towards teaching online, teachers are confronted every day with
issues such as online moderation, establishing social presence online,
transitioning learners to online environments, giving feedback online. This
book supports language teaching professionals and researchers who are keen to
engage in online teaching and learning. It integrates theory and practice from
a research-informed teaching perspective and helps teachers in formal and
informal settings to become confident users of online tools. The authors of
the 11 chapters draw on a wide range of experience that will aid readers for
