Meeting Description:
The Manchester Forum in Linguistics (mFiL) is an annual international conference which brings together new researchers from every field of linguistics.
The aim of the event is to share current work, results and problems, and to provide information and advice for postgraduate students and early career researchers. This includes the presentation of papers, posters, a careers panel and plenary talks, as well as dinner and drinks. This fourth installment of the Forum will be held at The University of Manchester on 6-7 November, 2015.
2nd Call for Papers:
Submissions for oral and poster presentations in all areas of linguistics are welcomed. Presentations should be no more than 20 minutes in length with 10 additional minutes allocated for questions, comments and discussion. Preference will be given to abstracts which contain implications for linguistic theory or employ novel methodology.
Deadline:
July 19, 2015 (midnight GMT)
Format:
One A4-sized page with 2.5 cm margins on all sides, font 12pt Times single-spaced, PDF format only. Any additional pages will not be considered. A list of references is not necessary, but you may include author-year citations in the body of your abstract. Please DO NOT include your name or affiliation in the abstract.
