Meeting Description:
Every human language is a tightly entangled bundle of cognition and communication, of culture, history, and biology because all languages are result of the development of the brain in a physical, social, and cultural environment. Therefore, any attempt to build a real language science needs the coherent and comprehensive integration of Linguistics, Psychology, Neurology, and Biology in order to foster the adequate questions which will allow us to disentangle this complex bundle.
The Psylex group (University of Zaragoza), in its fourth workshop, brings together specialists in theoretical linguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, and biolinguistics to contribute their research and knowledge to this direction. We welcome poster submissions dealing with issues related to the interplay between language, cognition and biology from any perspective and framework.
