The Departments of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin-Madison announce the 4th Luso-Hispanic Linguistics Symposium (LHLS 4), to be held Friday and Saturday, 20-21 November, 2015 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Call for Papers:
The Departments of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin-Madison invite submissions for papers to be presented at the 4th Luso-Hispanic Linguistics Symposium (LHLS 4).
Submissions for the main session from graduate students and other junior scholars are welcome in any descriptive, social, applied or theoretical approach to linguistics, from a synchronic or diachronic perspective. Papers should not exceed 20 minutes. The languages of the symposium are English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Abstracts should be at most one page, with one-inch margins and 12-point font. A second page may be included for references and/or data. Abstracts should be sent to reidoval at uwm.edu.
The deadline for submission is 12 a.m. CST on Monday, September 7, 2015. You will be notified of the status of your submission by mid-September.
