Job Duties

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a one-year (9
months), full-time Visiting Assistant Professor, English with a concentration
in Applied Linguistics. Candidates should have specializations in at least two
of the following areas: second language acquisition, TESOL methods, and
assessment. Candidates will teach 4 courses per semester likely including
second language acquisition, grammar, and first year writing for multilingual
and mainstream writers. The strongest candidates will have experience in
university-level teaching and working with language learners.

Qualifications

All candidates must have a PhD in Applied Linguistics or a related field at
time of appointment.
