Teaching (40%):
The teaching load consists of 4-6 weekly hours per year in the field of
digital studies in the humanities (given in French), as well as the
supervision of master and doctoral theses.
Research (40%):
The appointee will be expected :
- To develop research studies relative to digital studies in the humanities
- To be responsible for the interfaculty MA programme in digital studies in
the humanities
- To be responsible for contracts which favour collaboration with local and
international partners
- To seek research opportunities from outside sources, in particular those
offered by the National Fund for Scientific Research (NFSR).
Administrative Responsibilities (20%):
The appointee will be expected :
- To participate in the administrative tasks of the Institute, the Faculty,
the University and its associated bodies
- To contribute to the creation and the development of the MA programme in
digital studies in the humanities
- To assure cooperation with local partners, other faculties and institutes of
higher education, in particular the digital humanities section of the Swiss
Federal Institute of Technology at Lausanne (EPFL).
This position is attached to the "Section des sciences du langage et de
l'information" of the Faculty of Arts.
