Meeting Description:

The first year of the conference held in 2012 offered an opportunity for
translation studies experts from Slovakia and abroad (Spain, Italy, the United
Kingdom, Russia, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic) to present the
results of their academic research and provided a platform for mutual
discussion. The second, to be held in 2015, hopes to provide similarly
favourable conditions for inspiring the exchange of ideas. The featured
invited speaker for MTS II. Translation & Interpreting Shifts: Identity Shifts
is Michael Cronin (Dublin City University).

Call for Papers:

If you are interested in attending the conference, please send your registration form to mts.conference.slovakia at gmail.com by the 15 June 2015. Please note that your presentation should not exceed 15 minutes.

MTS II is also open to non-presenting participants; the registration deadline for the non-presenting participants is the 5 September 2015. The conference fee (75 EUR, 50 EUR for doctoral students, 40 EUR for non-presenting participants) covers participation in conference sessions, coffee breaks, lunches, the evening reception and editing and publishing the conference proceedings.
