Description:
A doctoral position in psycholinguistics is available at the University of Geneva to work on the project ‘The influence of working memory on syntax: Training effects in children with specific language impairment and autism’, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing material for working memory training,
- Recruiting, training and testing French-speaking children (typically-developing, with SLI and with autism spectrum disorder),
- Analysing the data and writing articles based on the results
- Participating in national and international conferences
- Supervising master’s students in Speech and Language Pathology
Applicants must be (near) native French-speakers and have an MA (or equivalent degree) in psycholinguistics, or in Speech and Language Pathology. Advanced skills in statistics and English are also required.
The three-year contract begins in February 2016, with a salary of 47'040 CHF before taxes for the first year, which will increase to reach 50’040 CHF in the third year.
