Meeting Description:
The Department of Linguistics and the Sociolinguistics Laboratory at the University of Washington are proud to host the second Cascadia Workshop in Sociolinguistics (CWSL), which will take place 23-24 April, 2016. This student-led event has the aim of bringing together researchers working on sociolinguistic topics of interest to the Pacific Northwest and building community among sociolinguists at institutions within the region.
Calls for Papers:
Abstracts are invited on any topic in sociolinguistics, including discourse analysis, linguistic anthropology, and other related fields. Abstracts should be anonymous, should not exceed 300 words (excluding references), and should be emailed electronically to cwsl at uw.edu.
