Subject: CoLang 2016 Application Now Available
The Institute on Collaborative Language Research (CoLang) will be held June-July 2016 in Fairbanks, Alaska. A 2-week work session of workshops (June 20 - July 1) will be followed by an optional 3-week language practicum (July 5-23).
CoLang 2016 is now accepting a class of 125 participants, a group balanced among language activists, linguistics students and practicing linguists, those who are new to language documentation and those who want to refine their skills. The success of CoLang depends on people eager to develop skills for collaborative language documentation and its applications, both language community members and academics.
