Abstract:

Die in einem Klassenzimmer versammelten Schülerinnen und Schüler bringen
zunehmend unterschiedliche Lern- und Leistungsvoraussetzungen mit. Die
steigende sprachliche, kulturelle und individuelle Heterogenität der Lernenden
muss bei der Gestaltung von Schule und Fachunterricht berücksichtigt werden,
wenn diese unterschiedlichen Lernausgangslagen kritisch reflektiert und nach
Möglichkeit produktiv nutzbar gemacht werden sollen, statt als Hindernis im
Lern- und Lehrprozess wahrgenommen oder ignoriert zu werden. Die in diesem
Band versammelten Beiträge zeigen am Beispiel des Fachs Englisch (mit
Übertragungsmöglichkeiten auf andere Schulfremdsprachen), wie dies im Hinblick
auf fachdidaktische Kernfragen, z.B. Gestaltung von
Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten bei Aufgabenstellungen sowie Leistungsmessung,
gelingen kann. Dabei werden Kontexte und Rahmenbedingungen (u.a. historische
Entwicklung, institutionelle Vorgaben, besondere Förderbedarfe) kritisch
reflektiert, sowie Impulse aus den Erziehungswissenschaften (Schulpädagogik,
Interkulturelle Bildung) sowie internationale Expertise aus Österreich,
Luxemburg und Kanada im schulischen Umgang mit Heterogenität (Schwerpunkt:
sprachliche Heterogenität) einbezogen.
