International Summer School for EFL Teachers/Italy

Focus: An international Summer School for EFL teachers, teacher trainers and trainees with a special focus on some key issues in EFL methodology.
Minimum Education Level: Undergraduate


Description:
The summer school takes place in the Marche Region in Italy and offers 120
participants for possibility to follow plenaries and workshops in three areas:

- Creativity in EFL methodology
- Digital skills and EFL teaching 
- CLIL pluriliteracies

In each area there are 2/3 plenaries followed by a four hour workshop: every
participant will have to choose the workshop they want to follow. 
Some really important speakers will be staying with us during the school:

Anne Gilleran, Senior Pedagogical Adviser at eTwinning's Central Support
Service (Brussels)
Diana Hicks, a consultant trainer for CLIL/Bilingual teacher training courses
for twenty years both in Europe and South East Asia
Do' Coyle, CLIL expert (we owe her the four C's in CLIL methodology)
Russell Stannard, he runs www.teachertrainingvideos.com, a website that offers
free step by step help videos to get teachers using technology in their
teaching

Some important collaborations are open:
the ECML (European Centre of Modern Languages) of the Council of Europe in
Graz
the Italian National Agency for Erasmus Plus 
British Council Italy
