Subject: Gen Ling / Cogent Arts and Humanities (Jrnl)
Full Title: Cogent Arts and Humanities
Linguistic Field(s): General Linguistics
Cogent Arts & Humanities (http://cogentoa.tandfonline.com/journal/oaah20) is a
peer-reviewed, Open Access platform for the publication of cutting-edge
research across all fields of the humanities. The journal sits within our
interconnected series of publications, enabling work to be visible to relevant
audiences in related disciplines.
We are currently expanding the journal to encompass a section devoted to
Linguistics and seek the papers and peer-reviewers
Papers:
We seek critical essays, research papers and review articles from any
linguistic discipline. No single discipline is favored, though it may be
helpful to facilitate dialogue with other Arts and Humanities disciplines by
embedding specialist discussion within (brief) introductions to the relevant
field(s).
All manuscript submissions are subject to initial appraisal by an Editor and,
if considered suitable for the journal, to single-blind peer review by
independent, anonymous expert referees.
For more on submission, including reference style, please see
http://cogentoa.tandfonline.com/page/authors?journalCode=oaah20
Informal inquiries and/or expressions of interest may be addressed to Eric
Lacey at Eric.Lacey at Winchester.ac.uk
Reviewers:
We seek expressions of interest for peer-reviewers. If you are interested,
please email the journal directly at humanities at CogentOA.com. Information for
peer-reviewers can be found here:
http://cogentoa.tandfonline.com/page/reviewers?journalCode=oaah20
If you would like an informal discussion about undertaking peer-review for the
journal, feel free to contact Eric Lacey at Eric.Lacey at Winchester.ac.uk
Cogent Arts & Humanities is indexed in: Directory of Open Access Journals
(DOAJ), Ulrichs, Google Scholar, CrossRef and Taylor & Francis Online. Cogent
OA is working with all major indexers to include Cogent Arts & Humanities as
soon as possible once it becomes eligible.
See here (http://cogentoa.tandfonline.com/page/aboutCogentOA/faqs) for more
information.

The LINGUIST List is under the umbrella of Indiana University and
as such can receive donations through the eLinguistics Foundation,
which is a registered 501(c) Non Profit organization. Our Federal
Tax number is 45-4211155. These donations can be offset against
your federal and sometimes your state tax return (U.S. tax payers only).
For more information visit the IRS Web-Site, or contact your financial
advisor.
Many companies also offer a gift matching program, such that
they will match any gift you make to a non-profit organization.
Normally this entails your contacting your human resources department
and sending us a form that the eLinguistics Foundation fills in and
returns to your employer. This is generally a simple administrative
procedure that doubles the value of your gift to LINGUIST, without
costing you an extra penny. Please take a moment to check if
your company operates such a program.
Thank you very much for your support of LINGUIST!
