Meeting Description:
The goal of the DRAL 3/ESEA 2017 International Conference is to share and
learn about a variety of aspects of doing research in applied linguistics and
the uses of English in ASEAN.

- Purposes and uses of research in applied linguistics

Call for Papers:
Types of presentations: The conference will include papers and poster
presentations.
Papers:
This is a lecture-style presentation. The presenter has 30 minutes to present
a paper and 10 minutes for questions and answers. Some time-slots will be
reserved for papers by current PhD students to encourage dissemination of
research issues relating to PhDs.
Poster presentations:
This is a display of material on a poster which will be scheduled to allow
opportunities for conference participants to discuss the material. The
standard size of a poster is 1189mm x 841mm, 46.82 inches x 33.11 inches in

To submit a proposal, download the proposal form from

‘DRAL2017 proposal’ in the Subject line.
Submission of Abstracts:
For papers : 150-200 words.
For poster presentations : 100-150 words.
**We will return the abstract to the speakers for adjustment if it exceeds
word limits.
