The Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies is pleased to announce an
Oxford Seminar in advanced Jewish Studies to run from January to June 2018, on
the theme: Greek Expanded, Greek Transformed: the vocabulary of the septuagint
and the cultural world of the translators. Several Visiting Fellowships are
available for people who would like spend the whole or part of this time
working in Oxford on subjects connected to this theme. For further information
