Meeting Description:

The recent years have witnessed an increase in the study of language from the
neurocognitive perspective. In order to further strengthen the research in
China, we are pleased to announce that 2017 Chinese Symposium on
Neurolinguistics (CSNL-2017) is to be held on Saturday 24 June 2017 at Nanjing
Normal University, Nanjing, China. CSNL-2017 focuses on the processing of
first and second or foreign languages and aims to bring together the growing
amount of research that utilizes ERP and fMRI techniques.

We will invite top-ranked scholars at home and abroad in the field of
neurolinguistics to deliver keynote speeches in the symposium and also invite
contributions from various theoretical and applied perspectives. Suggested
topics include (but not limited to) the neural substrate and processing of the
Chinese language and bilingualism, especially Chinese as native and second
language as well as English as second language.


Call for Papers:

The working language of the symposium is English. Submissions in language
other than English are also encouraged.

Abstracts, including figures and references, should not exceed 500 words. They
should also list up to three keywords. Regular presentations will be allocated
20 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions and answers.

Please send the abstract as a Microsoft Word file to csnl2017 at 163.com no later
than 30 March 2017.

Abstract submission: 1 December 2016 - 30 March 2017
Acceptance notification: 15 April 2017 - 15 May 2017
Symposium dates: 24 June 2017
