Meeting Description:
The Institute of Linguistics of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the
University of Buenos Aires invites all researchers working in the area of
linguistic historiography to participate in the XI International Congress of
the Spanish Society for Linguistic Historiography, which will take place in
the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires on the 19 - 21 April 2017.
The Spanish Society for Linguistic Historiography (SEHL) has as its main
objective the promotion and dissemination of knowledge about the history of
linguistic ideas and epistemological evolution of knowledge about language.
Since its inception in 1995, SEHL has promoted the organization of
international conferences in order to encourage the gathering of its members
and to promote contact between researchers interested in linguistic
historiography.
Call for Papers:
The Organization Committee calls for the submission of abstracts (between 300
and 400 words) for oral communications (20 minutes for presentation plus 10
minutes of discussion).
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 30 September 2016. Proposals
received will be subject to peer evaluation. The results of the evaluation
will be communicated as from 1 December 2016.
