Role:
The School plans to appoint two Lecturer/Senior Lecturers in the area/s of
Chinese language and linguistics, cultural studies, literature, translation
and interpreting or related fields. The successful appointee/s will engage in
undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and postgraduate supervision,
contribute to further development of the School’s Chinese program, performing
research, service/engagement and other associated activities.
Applicants should possess a PhD in a relevant area of Chinese language and
linguistics, cultural studies, literature, translation and interpreting or
related fields. The applicant/s should also have demonstrated expertise and
experience in the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as
supervision at postgraduate level. The applicant/s should also have a record
of high quality research publications appropriate to the level of the
appointment.
