The Tradumàtica journal is preparing a monograph on the relationship between
translation and mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, surfaces, watches, etc.)
in order to understand how they are being used in the field of translation at
present and what role they can have in the future. We invite professionals and
researchers to contribute to the monograph with proposals of 3,000 words
maximum which look at the following topics, amongst others:

― The use of mobile devices by translation and interpreting professionals.
― The use of mobile devices in the classroom.
― The localisation of mobile devices and apps.
― The role of mobile devices in future translation processes.

The languages of the journal are Catalan, Spanish and English.

Articles are accepted up to 30th September 2016 and should be submitted
through the journal's Open Journal System. Please check the guidelines for
