Description:
The Bilingual Mind research group [meet us at http://www.ehu.eus/HEB] invites
applications for a PhD grant (3 year contract) to start in the fall of 2016.
Principal Investigator: Prof. Itziar Laka
Bring us your talent if you are a graduate in a field related to
Psycholinguistics (Linguistics, Psychology, Cognitive Science)
Requirements: EU citizenship; a Master's degree (300 ECTS completed, at least
60 ECTS in a Master's degree) by Sept/Oct 2016; a good academic record.
The candidate will join the PhD Program in Linguistics at the University of
the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), and work at the Psycholinguistics Laboratory of
the faculty of Arts in the project entitled OVO-Originating variation from
Order, financed by the Spanish Government (FFI2015-64183).
The candidate we look for should ideally (though not necessarily) have some
expertise in experimental approaches to language research, and some knowledge
of OV languages (Basque, Japanese, Quechua, Turkish…), with the goal of
investigating the impact of linearization in linguistic variation and language
representation and processing.

of the academic record (in ECTS format) to Prof. Laka by email

Recommendation letters are welcome as part of the documentation, although not
required.

Estimated salary before taxes circa 16,400 EUR/year
