Description:
Through the University of Maryland (UMD) Office of Extended Studies (OES), the
University of Maryland Center for Advanced Study of Language (CASL) is proud
to offer the following three-week courses for Winter Term 2017:
- CASL212: Languages of Africa, by Michelle Morrison, PhD
- CASL314: The Great Decipherments, by Amalia Gnanadesikan, PhD
- CASL342: Culture Wars: Recent U.S. Conflicts & the Role of Culture, by Wendy
Chambers, PhD
These course are taught by our research scientists who have direct and
extensive experience working in the field and teaching academically. Courses
