Subject: Koerner to Salmons Editorial Succession
E.F.K. Koerner, founder and long-time editor of ''Current Issues in Linguistic
Theory'' has recently handed over the editorship of the series to Joseph C.
Salmons, who had already been assisting him in the capacity of Executive
Editor.
''Current Issues in Linguistic Theory'' was one of the first book series of
John Benjamins Publishing Company and has for many years provided a home for
theoretical and historical linguistic subjects in a wide range of languages.
The series continues to welcome theory-oriented proposals that advance our
understanding of language, its structure, function and especially its
historical development.
