Description:

The Linguistics program at Boston University invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor of Semantics, to begin July 1, 2017, pending
budgetary approval. The candidate will teach and advise at the graduate and
undergraduate levels and serve as a core faculty member in the Linguistics
program. A secondary specialization in pragmatics, computational linguistics,
or another core area of linguistics would be a plus. Requirements include a
PhD in Linguistics in hand by the start date, a strong background in
linguistic theory, and demonstrated excellence in teaching, advising, and
