Meeting Description:
The annual colloquium of the Henry Sweet Society for the History of Linguistic
Ideas welcomes papers on any topic in the history of linguistics. Proposals
for themed panels are also welcome. The 2017 conference takes place in
London's West End, close to the major attractions of the capital.
Call for Papers:
The 2017 colloquium of the Henry Sweet Society will be a one-day event at the
University of Westminster on Friday 28 April. You are invited to submit a
proposal for a paper on any topic relating to the History of Linguistics.
Proposals for panel sessions, comprising several papers on a common theme and
submitted together, are welcome.
Proposals should not exceed 500 words and should be submitted direct to the
colloquium organiser, Professor Andrew Linn (a.linn at westminster.ac.uk) by
Friday 16 December. Please submit two versions, one including your name and
contact details and the other anonymous.
