Co-organized by the Department of Foreign Languages (Universidad de Puerto
Rico, Rio Piedras), the Department of Languages and Communication (Université
du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Canada) and the Puerto Rican Association of
Teachers of French (APPF)

Conference Theme: “Didactic and Educational Perspectives in French as a
Foreign Language: Pluralistic Approaches and Awakening to French at
University”

Keynote Speaker: Vincent Chanethom, George Mason University

Call for Papers:

The organizing committee of the 5th International Conference on the Teaching
of French as a Foreign Language (Colloque FLE 2018) invites researchers and
professors to submit 1500-word abstracts for presentations and round tables on
any topic related to the teaching of French as a Foreign Language (see
suggested list of topics in the French version of the Call for Papers). French
is the official language of the conference.

Appel à communications: 5e Colloque international sur l'enseignement du
français langue étrangère (Colloque FLE 2018)

1er au 3 mars 2018, Universidad de Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras

Thème: Perspectives didactiques et éducatives du FLE :approches plurielles et
(r)éveil au français en milieu universitaire.

Le comité organisateur du colloque invite les chercheurs et les professeurs à
soumettre des propositions de communication faisant état de résultats de
recherche structurée. Ce colloque s’adresse aux chercheurs en FLE, mais aussi
aux didacticiens du français auprès de non-francophones. 

Conférencier invité: Vincent Chanethom (George Mason University) 

Seront considérées des propositions de communication et des propositions de
tables-rondes portant sur les thèmes suivants (liste non-exhaustive):

- Éveil aux langues et plus spécifiquement au FLE chez les adultes
- Approche(s) selon une perspective plurilingue et plurielle renouvelée du FLE
- Finalités éducatives réelles du français comme langue additionnelle 
- Défis, tensions, contraintes, obstacles ou conditions favorables à l’éveil
au FLE
- Diversité ethnoculturelle : dispositifs d’intervention pour maintenir
l’éveil au FLE
- Données scientifiques à l’appui ou à l’encontre de renouveaux en
enseignement-apprentissage du FLE
- Impact de l’exclusion ou de l’implantation de contenus de référence (p. ex.,
rectifications orthographiques, féminisation des titres, variation)
- Paradigmes de recherche : sur quels axes se concentrer?
- Contenus didactiques : sur quels thèmes se pencher aujourd’hui?
- Phénomènes fondés ou infondés d’exclusion et de hiérarchisation des langues,
voire des cultures.
- Échanges interuniversitaires et enseignement à distance

Votre proposition de communication ou de table-ronde doit contenir les
éléments suivants:

- un titre de 100 caractères maximum; 
- un résumé de 1500 à 2000 caractères et la bibliographie;
- la liste des auteurs et des coauteurs avec le prénom, le nom, le statut et
l’institution;
- les coordonnées des auteurs (adresse, courriel, téléphone);
- le tout doit tenir sur 1 page maximum;
- à transmettre en format Word au plus tard le 30 août 2017:

Les propositions reçues seront évaluées de façon anonyme par un comité
scientifique. Des réponses seront rendues en octobre 2017.La langue du
colloque est le français.
