A non-exhaustive list of topics we are interested in are as follows:
- Base order and head directionality;
- Theoretical modelling, e.g., head movement vs. phrasal movement to account
for derived orders
- Correlates with linearization phenomena, e.g., adverb ordering or object
ordering
- Accounts of left peripheral options and information structure
- Consequences of the VP structure on phonological form, in particular
prosodic phrasing or nuclear stress
- Thematic structure and its syntax
- Effects of the properties of the arguments on word order

Call for Papers:
As part of a semi-formal workshop to be held at Bielefeld University, we
invite contributions that inform the formal analysis of word order in the VP
from a large variety of perspectives. Thus, in addition to synchronic and
comparative analyses, we welcome contributions on mono- and bilingual
acquisition, language contact and change.
A non-exhaustive list of topics we are interested in are as follows:
