29th European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information

Focus: The European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information (ESSLLI) is an event organized every year in a different European country under the auspices of the Association for Logic, Language and Information (FoLLI). It brings together logicians, linguists, computer scientists, and philosophers to study logic, language, information and their interconnections. ESSLLI attracts about 400 participants from all over the world, both senior and junior and is a great place to learn and network and have a lot of fun in the process.
ESSLLI 2017 features 44 courses at foundational, introductory, and advanced levels, as well as 4 workshops, 4 invited lectures, and a student session to foster interdisciplinary discussion of current research. Courses and workshops are one week long and cover a wide variety of topics within the combined areas of interest: Language and Logic, Language and Computation, and Logic and Computation.

The 29th European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information (ESSLLI
2017) will take place at Toulouse Capitole University, Toulouse, France, from
July 17 to 28, 2017. It is organized by the Institut de Recherche en
Informatique de Toulouse with the support of the Laboratoire "Cognition,
Langues, Langage, Ergonomie" under the auspices of the European Association
for Logic, Language and Information.
We are pleased to announce that registration for ESSLLI 2017 is now open.

Please note that the early-bird registration fee is valid till April 27, 2017.
We have reserved a number of cheap single rooms in the University Residences
located in Toulouse center.

Registration Instructions:
Registration fees for ESSLLI 2017 include all courses and workshops as well as
the Student Session (Stus).
It is not possible to register for a single week, to a single workshop, or to
Stus only. Registration to the Formal Grammar satellite conference is optional
and can be taken separately.
Academic rate applies to scholars working in universities as well as to
researchers working in public institutions.
Registration fees include neither accommodation nor lunches.
Registration with accommodation:
It is possible to book and pay for accommodation in university residence halls
on the registration form by June 1st. Availability is limited, it is strongly
advised to book by April 27th. For other types of accommodation, please
