Description:
Intern at Standing Rock this summer! The Lakota Language Consortium is seeking
a proactive individual to assist with administrative duties at the 2017 Lakota
Summer Institute at Sitting Bull College, Fort Yates, ND.

Now in its eleventh year, the Lakota Summer Institute is an an important
opportunity for Lakota language teachers and second language learners from
across the Great Plains come together. They take college accredited classes in
community linguistics, immersion methods, teaching techniques, neologism
development and more.

This is a full-time, on-site position. It is unpaid, but travel expenses, food
and accommodation at the Prairie Knights Casino and Resort are provided.
