Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Language Acquisition
The Linguistics and Multilingual Studies Programme invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professorship with expertise in Language Acquisition.
We welcome applications in any aspect of language acquisition, but candidates
with an interest and track record in the sociolinguistic and/or educational
aspect of language acquisition are preferred. Candidates must possess a PhD in
Linguistics at the time of appointment, demonstrable evidence of excellence in
research and teaching, and a commitment to university service. The teaching
load is typically 2/2, and we expect this appointment to begin in January
2018.

The commencing salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications,
experience and the level of appointment offered. Information on emoluments and
