Meeting Description:

This symposium has been held biennially since 1993, bringing together some of
the most talented minds of the field. Previous editions have taken place at
different locations in Spain and for the first time next year it will be held
abroad. The upcoming edition will be organized by the Research Group in
Psycholinguistics from the Research Center in Psychology (CIPsi) at the
University of Minho between April 5-8, 2017 in Portugal, specifically in one
of the most beautiful settings of the north of the country, Bom Jesus do Monte
(Braga). Bom Jesus is a candidate to the World Heritage list by Unesco, a
secluded place with beautiful gardens and breathtaking views to the city.


Call for Papers: 

Call for oral communications and posters has been extended up to January 27.

Results will be communicated on February 6.

In addition to individual papers, the scientific committee will be considering
proposals for sub-symposia in the XIIIth International Symposium of
Psycholinguistics, such as the one organized by Profs. Isabel Fraga and Pilar
Ferré entitled “Language & Emotion”. This sub-symposium will consist of 4
15-minute oral presentations plus 5 min for questions. Abstracts can be sent
via the ordinary channel in the Symposium web by selecting the “Sub-symposium
Language and Emotion” option. The deadline is January 27 2017. In case we
receive too many proposals for this specific symposium, the submitted
abstracts will likewise be considered for the general program.
