Meeting Description:
The Institute of English Studies at Humanitas University in Sosnowiec, Poland,
is pleased to invite you to the international conference Dialogue in Language
and Literature, which will be held at Holiday Inn in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland,
September 22-23, 2017. The main theme of the conference is going to cover the
most important manners of human interaction, namely dialogue and its
expression in language and literature. We would like to invite all scholars
who are involved in broadly understood linguistics, sociolinguistics,
pragmatics, psychology, literature and culture to participate in the
discussion concerning dialogue and its forms in the above mentioned
disciplines.

Call for Papers:
The main theme of the conference is going to cover the most important type of
human interaction, namely, dialogue and its expression in language and
literature. We would like to invite all scholars who are involved in broadly
understood linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatics, psychology, literature
and culture to participate in the discussion concerning the dialogue and its
forms in the above mentioned disciplines. We would also like to concentrate on
the need of dialogue in an FL classroom, especially the dialogue between
teachers and students. Therefore, we kindly invite speakers to present their
papers covering the following areas of dialogue:
- Social aspects of the theory and practice of dialogue
- Dialogue as the basis for effective communication
- Intercultural dialogue
- Dialogue in literature
- Dialogue as the level for the intergeneration understanding
- Educational dialogue in the process of foreign language acquisition and
learning
- Dialogue in family
- Dialogue in business relations
