Description:

The Department of Linguistics at Memorial University, Newfoundland, invites
applications for graduate admission for Fall 2017 from qualified students for
the M.A. (with thesis) degree. Students will undertake thesis research within
the context of the project Language Experience and Linguistic Complexity in
Child Bilingual Development: A Cross-learner Comparison, a study of children
acquiring French in different bilingual contexts. Proficiency in French is
highly desirable. Competitive funding is available. Research opportunities are
available in the areas of phonetics/phonology and morphology/syntax. More
