Subject: Participate in Questionnaire--English Speakers
Hello. I’m a Japanese student of the university. I am studying English
Linguistics at university.
I am researching two subjects:
First, I am looking at Negative Expressions, particularly the difference
between "no X" and "not any X." For this I have designed a questionnaire for
English speakers:
https://goo.gl/forms/oa7QkHez9YZoD8Lk1
Second, I am looking at the following phenomenon: when we say “we play + the
instrument~.” , generally we have to give “the”, but sometimes we need not
give “the."
For example:
"He plays piano."
"He plays the piano."
Please tell me which expression do you usually use?
For this I have designed a second questionnaire:

Please kindly spare your time to answer the questionnaires. Thank you in
advance.
