Dear Friends,
This year, we are pleased to host the annual Friends of Uto-Aztecan Conference
(FUAC) in Boise, Idaho, on the Boise State University campus in conjunction
with the Western Conference on Linguistics (WECOL).
Registration fees will cover both conferences (with the possible addition of a
FUAC-only fee for a dinner on the Basque Block in beautiful downtown Boise).
FUAC proper will be held Friday and Saturday, October 20-21, 2017. You are, of
course, encouraged to attend WECOL through the weekend, whose conference theme
''Language and Displacement'' may be of interest to many of you!
The deadline for FUAC abstract submissions has been extended to June 30, 2017.
Abstracts should be around one 12 point, double-spaced page (excluding
examples and references) and be sent to:

We welcome abstracts for papers on any Uto-Aztecan language-related topic,
including, but not limited to, grammatical analyses, theoretical approaches,
historical development, socio-cultural contexts, and updates on language

If you are an international traveler and need to make earlier travel plans,
please let me know.
Thank you, and hope to see you in Boise! Sincerely, Tim
