Meeting Description:

The International Workshop on Technology Enhanced Language Learning (TELL)
invites contributions that concern rationale, theories, pedagogies, and best
practices for the use of emerging technologies as vehicles for foreign/second
language teaching and learning. The goals are to stimulate discussion among
TELL scholars/practitioners about the benefits and drawbacks of current
practices in the pedagogical use of emerging technologies in language
education. The synergy resulting from this workshop will result in new
understandings of trends and strategies that provide directions for future
research collaborations, and the resulting ongoing improvement of guidance for
TELL practitioners.


Call for Papers:

Topics of interest:

The scope of the workshop includes but is not limited to the following topics:
-Theoretical foundations and perspectives of TELL
-Use of multiple TELL platforms, mobile technology for TELL
-Game-based learning in TELL
-Learning strategies and learning styles
-TELL in distance and flexible learning contexts
-TELL in informal learning environments (outside the classroom)
- Assessment theories and methodologies for TELL
-Improving intercultural and interdisciplinary competence through TELL

 Submission format:
Authors are invited to submit papers in a Full Paper (having a maximum of 10
pages) or a Short Paper (having a maximum of 6 pages) format. Papers exceeding
the page limits will be rejected without review. Please use the Springer
Proceedings format for submission. Template is available here:
