Abstract:

Infolge des großen Umfangs meiner Arbeiten über die Entpalatisierung des
e-Lautes im Polnischen, bin ich genötigt, mich einstweilen auf die
Veröffentlichung der wichtigsten Teile zu beschränken.

In der vorliegenden Abhandlung beschränke ich mich also auf die Erforschung
der Reflexe der urslavischen e-Laute im Polnischen in den am wenigsten
komplizierten, doch wichtigsten Stellungen, die die vollständigsten,
genauesten und sichersten Schlüsse über die Entpalatisierung jener Laute
ermöglichen, nämlich in den Wurzelsilben, in und auslautend. Aus diesem
Material bleibt ausgeschlossen: einmal die Fälle mit Liquidametathese, sodann
weiter onomatopoetische Wörter, Eigennamen, endlich eine Reihe von Beispielen,
deren Nichtberücksichtigung das Endergebnis der Arbeit in keiner Weise ändert.
