Meeting Description:

The Old and Middle English Summer School in Naxos (16-27 July 2017) will be
organizing a workshop on “New Approaches to the History of Early English(es)
II”, to be held on 26 July 2017.

Please notice that the deadline for applications to the summer school is April
15th 2017.

Registration Instructions:

Please state your interests and background in less than one-page and submit it
to Nikolaos Lavidas (nlavidas at enl.auth.gr) and Alexander Bergs
(abergs at uos.de).

The registration fees cover the accommodation in the municipality hostel for
the whole period of classes. Students will also be offered a discount of 50%
for the ferry tickets, and a light lunch will be offered to participants.

Abstracts that approach the Old and Middle English language from any
perspective are welcome, including: historical morpho-syntax, phonology,
pragmatics, language contact and language change. Please email your 300-words
abstract to Nikolaos Lavidas (nlavidas at enl.auth.gr) and Alexander Bergs
(abergs at uos.de), by April 20.
