The School of Languages and Social Sciences is an ambitious, expanding,
multidisciplinary School with an established reputation for excellence in
teaching and research.
The English subject group is seeking to make an appointment at either Reader,
Senior Lecturer or Lecturer level in Forensic Linguistics/ Linguistics from 1
September 2017.
We are looking to appoint an individual who can make a significant
contribution in research and leadership in the Centre for Forensic
Linguistics. You should have published research in Forensic Linguistics, and
be able to contribute to one or more of the following areas of the group’s
teaching portfolio: corpus linguistics, lexicogrammar, phonetics and
quantitative research methods. You should have a completed doctorate in a
relevant social science discipline and a strong track record of publications
and research.
