Job outline
Teaching: Core English classes (Oral Communication, Composition, etc.) and
academic subjects related to linguistics for undergraduate English Majors both
in the Day-time and Evening courses.
Administration: The successful candidate will contribute to the Department and
School by undertaking academic administration as appropriate to the
appointment.
Research: The successful candidate is expected to conduct research in his/her
field.
Qualifications
- Native speaker fluency in English
- Ph.D. or equivalent preferred, in an appropriate subject area
- Experience in teaching English to non-native speakers is desirable.
- Proficiency in Japanese sufficient to perform administrative duties is
desirable.
