Description:

As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with linguists, researchers and
engineers in Research and Machine intelligence to produce high quality data
and grammars that improve our ability to understand and generate natural
language. You will support project operations and focus on one or more
languages to propose directions and solutions to language-specific NLU
challenges.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with researchers, engineers and linguists to scope out project
and data needs and explore new methods of data gathering for a higher
throughput
- Support operations for data collection and data management
- Monitor data quality control, provide methodology implementation and
improvements
- Manage multiple projects from conception to delivery
- Track and report progress to stakeholders
- Maintain and create process documentation, project pages, project schedule

Minimum Qualifications:

- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Linguistics or Computational
Linguistics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with data operations and data management
- Quick learner with ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills
- Independent worker with the ability to effectively operate with flexibility
in a fast paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Multilingual speaker fluent in English with proficiency in one of the
following: Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin), Chinese (Cantonese),
Thai, Hindi, Indonesian, Arabic, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish,
Dutch, Polish, Vietnamese, Dutch, Turkish

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in areas such as semantics, syntax, morphology.
- Familiarity and experience with Natural Language Understanding technologies
- Experience with C++ or Python or other programming languages
- Experience collaborating internationally with multiple partners on
multifaceted projects

Project duration:

12 months (with potential for extension)
This is a fixed-term contract, not a permanent position.

Locations: New York, NY; Mountain View, CA
