Description:
As a Linguistic Project Manager, you will collaborate with researchers and
engineers in NLU/Machine Intelligence by providing linguistic expertise and
direction for NLP projects and systems. You will work closely with the
researchers and engineers to train and/or evaluate NLP and dialogue systems
and propose solutions. You will also contribute to and monitor data
acquisition and curation; you will develop quality control methodology,
experiments and improvements in our ability to understand and generate natural
language.
Job Requirements:
- Experience developing projects or curricula from concept to completion and
collaborating internationally with multiple partners on multi-quarter projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Experience in at least one programming language, such as Python or C++
- Experience with scripting languages working in a Linux environment
- Experience in developing context-free grammars for language systems
- Fluent in English, fluency in at least one other foreign language; more is a
plus
- Master's degree or higher in Computational Linguistics, ideally specializing
in syntactical or semantic parsing, or formal grammars
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
Project Duration: Approximately 6 months (with a possible extension), starting
as soon as possible.
This is not a permanent position but a full-time contract position.
