Description:
The Department of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics at Ben-Gurion University
of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel, invites applications for a tenure track
position in phonology or syntax. A specialization in morphology and/or
typology is an advantage.
While classes are conducted in English, some working knowledge of Hebrew is
useful for successful integration into the university. Pending final budgetary
approval, the appointment will begin on October 1, 2018, and is open to
candidates of all ranks. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. by the time they fill
the position.
We are a research intensive department with both undergraduate and graduate
programs. Current faculty specialize in semantics, syntax, psycholinguistics,
and neurolinguistics, and have an active collaboration with the Departments of
Psychology and Computer Science.

teaching interests; a statement of research interests; 1-2 samples of written
