Meeting Description:
CLIL & CLILiG in the era of Global Education
More specifically, the papers are expected to address the following
intersections:
- CLIL/CLILiG-focused theory and research
- CLIL/CLILiG methodology and classroom applications
- CLIL/CLILiG teacher and learner
- CLIL/CLILiG classroom discourse and management (classroom discourse,
classroom interaction analysis, curriculum design, qualitative/quantitative
assessment and evaluation, code switching)
- Psychological and psycholinguistic perspectives on CLIL/CLILiG (attitudinal
patterns, motivations, individual learner differences, cognitive and
hermeneutic strategies)
- Sociolinguistic theories and discourses (bilingual and multilingual
education, international language policies, institutional implementation of
CLIL/CLILiG initiatives)
- Socio-economic contexts of CLIL/CLILiG implementation initiatives (labour
market modeling, human resources management)
Call for Papers:
Proposals for original and previously unpublished papers (20 minutes for the
presentation and 10 minutes for the discussion) are welcome.

Symposium, please send your proposal to focusonlanguage2018 at gmail.com by
November 20, 2017. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by December 20,
2017. When sending your proposal, please quote ‘CLIL Symposium’ + your name
(English session) or ‘CLILiG Symposium’ + your name (German session)
