Meeting Description:
A three-in-one annual event comprising Conference, Workshop and Translathon
organised by the National Translation Mission, Central Institute of Indian
Languages.
Translation and Knowledge Society intends to bring together translators and
Translation Studies scholars to deliberate on the role of translation in
building and sustaining Knowledge Society.
The conference is flanked by a Workshop wherein we intend to have an
exhibition of translation tools, some hands-on practice and interactive
sessions with experts, and Translathon a new event during which we intend to

Call for Papers:
The conference invites submissions from a wide range of topics that are
relevant to Linguistics, Translation Studies, Comparative Literature, Cultural
Studies etc. As indicated in the call for papers, the conference invites
papers that are complete in all respects.
Selected papers will be published in an edited volume with ISBN.
Submission:
The conference encourages original and unpublished submissions in the broader
frameworks of Translation Studies and its allied disciplines.
Interested in submitting a paper? Please use the following specifications:
Font name: Times New Roman
Font size: 12 pts for running texts, 14 pts for heading and sub-headings
Line spacing: Single
Page layout: A4 size with 1'' margin on all sides
Formats: word and pdf
Style: Please follow LSA Style Sheet
Word limits: 3000-5000 words
As a policy, the conference invites only full length papers that are complete
in all respects. All papers will undergo a double blind peer review. NTM would
publish the proceedings (advance copy in electronic format and print copy
after the conference). Interested scholars may kindly submit their papers to
ntm.translationconference at gmail.com.
Kindly send the papers and register by due date as the slots for presentations
and publication in the proceedings are limited.
One person one paper: In order to provide fair opportunity to all, the
conference permits an author to submit only one paper either single-authored
or co-authored.
