Department of English and Institute of Languages, The University of Azad Jammu
and Kashmir are pleased to announce a call for papers to the 3rd Kashmir
International Conference on Linguistics 2018 to be held on 16-17 April 2018.
The conference is mandated to promote national and local languages spoken in
the region. It is one of the richest areas of the world in terms of linguistic
diversity. It is a meeting ground for many languages spawning from various
families. The interaction in these languages gives arise to fascinating
phenomena which form the basis of interesting linguistics studies - a heaven
for a linguist
This two-day interdisciplinary conference provides a meeting place for
researchers and practitioners in the areas of theoretical and applied
linguistics to present and share their research findings in a stimulating and
interactive environment. The conference aims to promote collaborative and
networking opportunities among scholars and practitioners and to advance new
perspectives and reflect on current research and practice in a variety of
areas in theoretical and applied linguistics. It is believed that the
conference will yield results to break new grounds and produce enduring
effects. We look forward to welcoming you to Muzaffarabad in April 2018.
Call for Papers:
Scholars are invited to submit abstracts for Paper/Poster presentation (up to
300 words) by January 15, 2018 in MS Word format, Times New Roman, Font size
12, as an email attachment sent to 3kicl.ajku at gmail.com .
Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously.
Papers will be short - 20 minutes for the presentation including
discussion/questions-answers session.
Please note that you will not be asked to submit full papers in advance of the
conference.
