Description:

The University of Massachusetts is offering a limited number of graduate
teaching assistantships to students admitted to the PhD programs in Hispanic
and Lusophone Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics in the Department of
Languages, Literatures and Cultures for the upcoming 2018-2019 academic year. 

Qualified applicants will be considered for a graduate teaching assistantship,
which includes a tuition waiver a full tuition waiver (about $28,000), medical
insurance (about $3,500), and a stipend ($19,500) while they work as Teaching
Associates. Graduate assistants teach undergraduate courses offered as part of
the Spanish language program. Demonstration of native or native-like fluency
in Spanish is necessary prior to appointment.
